Jones, MBA, an accomplished business strategist, educator, and social entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience advancing equity-centered education and entrepreneurial opportunity across the U.S. and globally. Stephanie’s leadership is uniquely shaped by her ability to operate at the intersection of education, mentoring, social impact, and real-world application.
She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Innovation at Purdue Global University, building on an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a BS in Business Administration.
As a Capstone Mentor for Crimson Education, she works directly with middle and high school students in the U.S. and internationally, guiding them to design and articulate research projects, social impact initiatives, entrepreneurial ventures, and creative work that significantly strengthen their competitiveness for college admissions to Ivy League schools.
Stephanie currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Unity International University teaching Entrepreneurship.
As Managing Director of Disrupt for Change, Stephanie designs and delivered culturally relevant, equity-centered education and mentoring initiatives supporting underrepresented tourism & hospitality enterprises. She is also the founder of the Diversity Tourism Academy, an innovative e-learning platform where she develops curriculum that equips learners for global business and leadership opportunities.
Stephanie’s leadership has extended to the national policy arena through two appointments to the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Travel & Tourism Advisory Board, where she advocated for equity and inclusion for underrepresented suppliers.
She is a published author, keynote speaker, and executive producer and host of The Necessary Disruptor podcast.

She provides support for the Diversity Tourism Academy.
Driven by her interest in culture and the tourism industry, she took a leap of faith as an independent tour guide on the island of Puerto Rico, engaging local business owners to be the source of her tour trips as well as providing visitors the best experience while traveling the island. As an entrepreneur, she understands firsthand the challenges and barriers for minority businesses from underserved communities working in the travel and tourism industry. She received certification as a cultural heritage tour guide through Miami-Dade Community College.
As an adventurer and Latina entrepreneur, she is passionate about her professional growth in the tourism industry and wants to ensure that others gain industry education to grow their businesses.
